Purpose and Vision:
The SCL provides accredited educational opportunities to lay leaders and ministry staff members in local churches. The School features remote learning opportunities delivered by gifted adjunct professors through our deepening partnership with Bethel University and Seminary.
Ministry Goals 2011 - 2012:
- Provide Theological Training for lay leaders and staff members in local churches at a seminary level beginning in the fall 2011.
- Offer Master Degree credits at an affordable scale without leaving one’s local community.
- Offer Converge SCL students the "Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a Church Leadership Emphasis" with credits transferable to Bethel Theological Seminary for students who want to pursue a seminary degree.
- Realize 300 to 500 students from coast to coast throughout Converge churches in 18-20 Local Learning Sites, with both audit and credit seeking students.
