Chapman delivers fuel
Jeff Chapman, Converge Worldwide missionary in Japan, joined two other men in driving two tank trucks of fuel to Ishinomake City in Iwake Prefecture, March 22. The 17-hour drive to a hard-hit earthquake/tsunami region delivered much-needed diesel fuel, gasoline and kerosene. Chapman is volunteering with CRASH Love on Japan.

2-month–old church plant gives $5K to Japan relief
High Point Church, a young church plant northwest of Seattle, responded to pastor John Czech’s suggestion that the church—itself blessed by God—take the opportunity to abundantly bless victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami. The offering was “beyond my imagination,” he said, when attendees contributed $5,000 for the relief effort. “We humbly give the gift to the Converge missionaries in Japan so that they can distribute the funds where needed,” he wrote.
