Lead Team Goals

A LEAD team is six to 10 leaders who:

  • meet quarterly or bimonthly for a year to make a kingdom impact
  • work together to see church multiplication and mobilization within a region or cultural group
  • seek to realize three goals: 1) start one to three churches; 2) mobilize one to three existing churches; 3) encourage the spiritual vitality of pastors and churches represented on the LEAD team

1) You’ll be part of a national movement of leaders that is spreading across the country.
2) You’ll sharpen your ministry skills as you interact with great leaders in your region.
3) You’ll experience a sense of team that comes from working together toward a common goal.
4) You’ll personally help pastors and church planters experience renewal and hope for their churches.
5) You’ll see God mobilizing you and your church as you connect with other leaders.

Ever watched a competitive rowing team out on a lake or river? The shell ripples smoothly and effortlessly through the water.

The crew members stroke together in perfect sync. Their torsos bend and slide in precise movements. The oar blades catch and release the water in unison. You hardly notice the coxswain in front establishing the pace and rhythm.

It’s astonishing how much farther we get when we pull together as a team. Eight people stroking together can do more than eight times the ministry of one.

When leaders work together to mobilize and multiply churches, there is a strength and creativity that is exciting.

There’s nothing better than being part of a LEAD team. It’s great accomplishing something on your own. But it’s even better partnering with others to make a kingdom impact.
