A2:5 (International English-language churches)

Purpose and Vision:

Assistance. First we assist by helping these organizations do the work of recruiting potential church planters, formally assessing candidates, setting up specialized LEAD teams (groups of church planters who meet together to stay focused on mission) and coaching church planters. In this phase we are primarily doing much of the work as the organizations learn our systems and values.

Assimilation. At this level the work is more integrated, shared. The organizations take an active part in recruiting, staffing the church planter Assessment Centers and experiencing hands-on training. They themselves begin to form LEAD teams and coach others.

Adoption. At this point these organizations have developed their own toolbox of church planting systems and we take the role of consultants. They recruit, conduct Assessment Centers, raise funds, train and support LEAD teams and deliver coaching.

Ministry Goals 2011-2012:

  • To train and equip the new Lead Team in the Nordic-baltic region.
  • To continue to facilitate the ongoing training of the International Baptist Convention in our church Planting Methodology
  • To assist in 5 new feasibility studies for English Speaking International church plants.
  • To facilitate and train 3 new A2:5 catalysts.
  • To oversee the Lead Team training for Northern & Southern Europe as well as Latin America
